She took her father’s name Norma Jean Mortenson and Baker came from her mother’s name, Gladys Baker. Gladys was abandoned by her husband, Jena and she suffered a lot of mental health issues as well. She even had her own production house alter called Marilyn Monroe production house, but Marilyn suffered depression because of her love life and her mother’s death as well.
